The Island Pearl departs from Holmes Beach @ 11:00am for a beautiful ride down past the southern half of AMI. You'll travel under two bridges, past Bradenton Beach, Cortez, Long Boat Pass, Jewfish & Sister Keys up to the docks at North Longboat. Take a walk around this quiet neighborhood (watch for the Peacocks!) and have a tasty waterfront lunch at either of the two great restaurants located there- Mar Vista or Moore's Stone Crab. The boat will be back in a few hours to bring you back to the Island. (Remember- you can also pick up the boat at Long Boat for a ride up to Anna Maria Island, or just stay on board and ride all day!)

Sarasota Day Trip Every Tuesday
Surely one of the prettiest downtowns in Florida, Sarasota is the heart of the Suncoast!
Rich in culture, shopping & fine dining, this walkable downtown has plenty to do and see, making for a great day trip!
Relax and enjoy the ride as we "steam" along Sarasota Bay. We'll wait at Marina Jack for a few hours while you have lunch, go shopping and take in the sights, before returning to Anna Maria Island.

Wednesday we cruise across lower Tampa Bay into the historic Manatee River and head east to the cross river communities of Bradenton & Palmetto. Keep your eyes out for a Dolphin sighting- watch the birds fishing and marvel at the beautiful mansions that line the river past it's preserved wild and scenic mouth.
Hop off at beautiful Regatta Point Marina for a delicious lunch at one of their fine restaurants or for some shopping. We then head to the brand new & wildly popular Bradenton Riverwalk Waterfront Park. The Southwest Florida Museum (home of Snooty the Manatee) is a 2 minute walk from our dock as well as all of the restaurants and businesses in downtown. Have some lunch and explore. We'll depart Bradenton, stop at Palmetto and then head back westbound to Anna Maria Island! The Captain & Crew have good stories and fascinating historical tales from this ancient and sacred river as you travel along this former highway of commerce at the pace of days gone by.

on Palma Sola Bay & Robinson Preserve
This is a perfect trip for the family as it has something for everybody!
We have partnered with Surferbus.com for a great mid-week outdoor watersports opportunity. Get on board at Holmes Beach (or connect via the morning Shuttle Loop) at 11am for the boat trip to Palma Sola Bay. We drop you off on the beach (bathrooms just a short walk away) where we have your Paddleboard or Kayak waiting for you. (Single or double Kayaks are available). OR You can stay on board the boat while the others go play as we go off exploring the Bay for Dolphins and Manatees.
If Kayaks are you thing- head off into the mangrove trail deep into the heart of Robinson Preserve. If Paddleboarding is your cup of tea- have a great time poking around the protected waters of Palma Sola Bay. Try some of both!
You may also go for a hike into the Robinson Preserve or just hang on the beach!
Remember to pack a lunch & liquids, bring your hat, sunblock, beach towels!
